Launching our blog on the best seafood restaurants in SoMa is Waterbar located at 399 The Embarcadero. And wow, what an amazing place to go for delicious seafood! Where do we even start? We sampled the Oysters w/ cucumber and yuzo kosho mignonette, a whole Dungeness Crab and the Grilled Walu and every bite was a delight from first to last. The views here are just as gorgeous too – including views of the bay and the San Fran skyline to boot.
Up next in our blog on the best seafood restaurants in SoMa is Lobster Me that serves up fresh lobster from Maine. Here you can grab such delicious favorites like Lobster Mac & Cheese, a Shrimp Cocktail and even a Lobsicle (it’s a lobster on a stick!!! On a stick, I tells ya!). The food is truly yum and you can find this lobstery slab of Heaven can be found in the Westfield San Francisco Centre at 865 Market Street. Run, don’t walk (or swim).
Rounding out our blog on the best seafood restaurants in SoMa is Hishiri located at 4 Mint Plaza. Awarded a Michelin Star this year, Hishiri – which means the “beginning peak of a season” in Japanese – imports fresh fish from Tokyo. They also have rare sake and aged Japanese whisky on hand too for a luxury dining experience. We sat for the (not cheap) Omakase at the Sushi bar which came with nine courses! Of course, it only set us back $300 so it’s not for the faint of heart (or wallet). Delicious, nonetheless!
We’ve listed some of the best of the best seafood restaurants in SoMa. Hopefully you’ll try at least one of them and fall in love with them too!
