Spring has officially sprung in SoMa, and that means it’s time to celebrate one of the most important people in our lives: Mom. Living in SoMa means you have a bounty of different delicious restaurants to choose from, so we are dedicating this week’s blog to the best places to take your #1 Fan.

The Garden Court: Since opening in 1909, The Palace Hotel’s Garden Court’s historical glass-domed atrium is the perfect setting for brunch or tea for Mother’s Day. Most people come to this restaurant for the gorgeous ambiance and beautiful decor, but they often stay for the delicious brunch and baked goods! The Garden Court feels like a ballroom lifted straight out of a scene from a Disney movie, which will help Mom to feel like the princess she it.

Marlowe: This French-American bistro in SoMa has all the things that make a neighborhood restaurant so amazing for a Mother’s Day meal: excellent brunch; a fine wine selection featuring French, Italian, and Californian wines; an outdoor patio; and last but definitely not least: one of the best burgers in the city. The aesthetically pleasing decor in this restaurant will only amplify your dining experience, making you want to visit again and again!

The Butler & The Chef Bistro: This restaurant is a little gem tucked away on a winding side street, and it has a huge following as a restaurant with a lot of heart! Claiming to be the only true French bistro in SoMa, the vibes are always great, the food is always lovely and carefully plated, and the staff and chef/owner are always so welcoming! We believe your mother will want to come here every weekend!

Celebrating for Mother’s Day means taking Mom out on the town to show her how much she really means to you! Living in SoMa means there are so many delicious restaurants to treat her to, it will be difficult to choose just one!
