While living in SOMA, it is always easy to find a delicious spot for either a quick bite to eat in the middle of a workday or a gathering with a group of friends for cocktails and gossip! For this week’s blog, we have chosen 3 of our favorite lunch spots in the area:

SOMA Streat Food Park- Hosting a rotating fleet of food trucks, you can generally choose from 6 to 7 food trucks for lunch on a given day, including at least one for dessert such as ice cream! There’s a permanent truck for beer and wine in a repurposed school bus, and both outdoor and indoor seating options, and a large barn structure with music and televisions. As far as the delicious food goes, the experience varies by design, and on rainy days some of the food trucks don’t open. This is a great place for a group of folks with diverse tastes!

Marlowe- Marlowe is an upscale, French-inspired restaurant in the South Beach area of SF that offers up some really delicious food! The menu is relatively small, but there were so many enticing food and drink options! The décor is pretty as well, though the restaurant is relatively small and can get crowded. For lunch, you can choose small appetizers, burgers, or even a delicious steak!

Grove Yerba Buena- The Grove on Mission is comfort food and cozy atmosphere with a great staff that is truly interested in a good experience for you. Dogs are welcome in the covered outdoor seating area where there is radiant heating.  This restaurant is a great place to grab a bite any time and convenient to Moscone Center and SFMOMA and the other museums in the area. We suggest you try the chicken pot pie!

Amongst the hustle and bustle of SOMA, it’s always nice to enjoy a great lunch. Our neighborhood has so many wonderful restaurants, it will be hard to choose!
