The Best Halloween Festivities Around SoMa

Halloween is almost upon us – and SoMa is filled with so many things to do, see, and go bump in the night. So check out our new blog if you dare; the Best Halloween Festivities Around SoMa!

Kicking off our blog on the best Halloween festivities around SoMa is the Mega Halloween International Ball at the Westin St. Francis Hotel on Sat, Oct 28th from 9pm-2am. Tickets cost between $30-70 and when you get there you’ll know why. This is San Francisco’s biggest and best Halloween affair with four, well-decorated rooms, seven DJs, dancers, drummers, and way, way more! In the Grand Ballroom, expect Euro/Top 40/Intnl House with DJ Cams, Aykut & Turker. In The Colonial Ballroom is the Latin Room with salsa, merengue, and tropical on tap. The Borgia Room will be transformed into the Persian Room with Dr T & Nitro – and in the California Ballroom you’ll find 80’s, 90’s and mash up (my personal favorite!) with Kevin Armstrong and D Double J. Also on hand will be Yennie Lam, a phenomenal violinist. Best dressed will win the best prizes!

Next up on our blog on the best Halloween festivities around SoMa is the 6th Annual Haunted Hotel experience at the W Hotel over at 181 3rd Street on Saturday, October 28th. In a similar spirit to the Ball at the Westin, you can expect seven DJ’s serving up everything from Top 40 to EDM in four rooms of music spread over three floors. On hand will be bottle service packages, table service and, if you’re lucky, lots of spirits (certainly the ones found in bottles!). It’s 21 and over if you’re gonna go lock in your tickets now as the price will only go up.

Rounding out our blog on the best Halloween festivities around SoMa is the Halloween Meets Hollywood event on Halloween Night itself! This soiree is free and encourages you to dress up as your favorite celebrity to win the Hollywood Icon Costume Contest – where there’s $1500 in cash and prizes to be had! Sponsored by 99.7Now Radio, there are over 10,000 feet of music and fun. Even though it’s free, you will want to reserve your ticket now to ensure entry. It’s held at the Grand Nightclub at 520 4th Street.

And there you go; lots of spooky fun to be had in and amongst the best Halloween festivities around SoMa! Wherever you go, have fun, stay safe and drink responsibly.
