Living in SoMa means you get to be right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but sometimes that becomes exhausting. Luckily our beautiful neighborhood is only a quick car ride away from some of NorCal’s most coveted adventures. Where do you like to road trip to?

Muir Woods- Muir Woods is the ideal spot for day trippers looking for a quick, woodsy escape. Travel across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge to reach this breathtaking forest refuge famous for tall trees and lush landscape. You’ll feel a satisfying sense of adventure similar to that of a cross-country trip as you travel through land and sea to reach your destination. The speedy 45-minute drive also makes this journey weekday-friendly.

Halfmoon Bay- This quick getaway spot is world famous, and for good reasons. Pay a visit to the Purisma Creek Redwoods or see the sights via pony on a guided ride with Sea Horse Ranch. Halfmoon Bay is an amazing place to take visitors to show them NorCal’s true beauty! Our favorite dinner time activity is to chow down on crab cioppino at the Flying Fish Grill!

Haight Asbury- Looking for a quick day trip? There’s one right close by! Although “The Haight” is best known for being the center of ‘60’s free love’ culture, there’s more to the strip between Baker and Stanyan streets than just coffee houses and nostalgia shops. One look beyond into the neighborhood reveals a host of gems that reflect the diverse character of the people who actually live there. The area is home to San Francisco’s best music store, a number of excellent vintage shops, and bars ranging from dive to intricate cocktails!

The neighborhood of SoMa is a great place to live because you are right in the middle of everything San Francisco has to offer, but it’s always nice to get away for a change. These road trips are sure to entertain and create some beautiful memories!
